Hello My Keto Friends!

Being a bestselling romance author is a great job that allows me to stay home with my family.  What's not so great?  How much time I spend in front of a computer and not out there doing things to stay active.  I created Keto with Michelle Hughes as a personal diary to hold myself accountable for my journey into this lifestyle of low-carb living.  I never expected the response I got from other people dealing with the same issues.

I started Keto because I’m a type 2 diabetic, and my blood sugar was out of control.  Yes, I was overweight as well, but my primary concern was my sugar levels.  377 was dangerous, and I knew if I didn’t do something to lower that, my health was going to decline.  With those worries weighing greatly on my mind, I made the decision to try Keto.  It was obvious my diabetic diet wasn’t working, so something had to change.

Two weeks into Keto, my blood sugar normalized.  That was all it took!  It’s been a month and I’ve also taken off 12lbs.  I know I’m on the right track.  Changing your lifestyle isn’t easy, and I’m not pretending it is, BUT it’s doable.  I strongly believe Keto is a lifestyle and not a diet.  I invite you along on my journey as we try to adjust to this new way of living.
